The EDAR is the brainchild of a group out of Los Angeles who have designed a mobile shelter for homeless people.

The EDAR (Everyone Deserves A Roof) is a four-wheeled mobile unit which carries belongings for the homeless person.

It folds up during the day and can be rolled along with the person and their belongings.

Then it unfolds into a special, framed tent-like sleeping enclosure with a bed at night.

It is designed to provide temporary shelter for homeless people for whom there are no shelter beds available or who are unable or unwilling to participate in those solutions.

This might be an interesting concept for us to import to Toronto.
