Toronto’s Real Estate Team Helps Support College Kids

By Thomas Cook • April 1st, 2009

Sally and I have been sales representatives with RE/MAX Hallmark for many years. I joined them back in 1983 and Sally came aboard in 1993. From Day 1 I’ve been impressed with the broker-owners and their forward thinking.

A couple of years ago they instituted a program to help us give back to the people who’ve trusted us with their real estate transaction. They instituted the RE/MAX Hallmark Scholarship Program which is open to any client of the company or our Team. For the school year 2009-2010, there is $10,000 available to award.

Here are the Scholarship Program criteria…

  • The applicant must be a child of a past or present client of a RE/MAX Hallmark Sales Representative or Broker
  • The applicant must have community involvement
  • The applicant is required to submit final marks and provide a 300 word essay
  • A current client is required to have a firm Agreement of Purchase & Sale, but the transaction does not need to be closed

The scholarship is awarded only to first year post-secondary students and the scholarship money is presented directly to the post-secondary institution on behalf of the applicant.

If you think your child would qualify, please email me right away and I’ll send you out the Application form.
